Her explanation caused a frown to deepen on the officer’s face.

"I understand. We’ll take special note of this lead you’ve provided, Miss Jiang."

Jiang Sui smiled and nodded. "Thank you for your trouble."

This was the true reason she had called the police.

Whether or not these men had been sent by Ji Sichen, this would at least put him on the police’s radar.
